Fraser Fir - Pick the best Christmas tree - here's how

If you missed yesterday's post on picking the right Christmas tree, you should give it a quick read as it is the first part of my posts on picking a great Christmas tree, The Fraser Fir.
The Fraser Fir is a regal, richly fragrant native tree that has attractive 1” needles that are silvery-green and soft to touch. The space between the branches makes it easier to decorate than some trees and the firm branches can hold heavier ornaments, which makes it he perfect holiday tree. The tree grows to almost perfect shapes, and as long as the cut tree is kept properly watered, the Frasier Fir has excellent needle retention.  It is one of the best choices for an indoor cut tree.  It is also considered one of the most popuar Christmas trees in the US.  It's growth pattern is very slender so the tree looks good and is a suitable size for both small and large rooms.
Stay tuned as more will follow tomorrow about the Fraser Fir.  We will discuss tree care, how to identify a good tree to take home from a lot full of trees, and then how to recycle your tree.
